Coffee & Conversation
Mad Rona's Coffee fosters community gatherings. Weekly, we pray for guidance in conversations, aiming to demonstrate God's love and care. We witness God's presence, opening hearts and minds to inquire about our ministry and to share their personal story.
Women's Bible Study
Gloria is teaching Women seeking healing or just curious about the Bible, can find answers through study of the five women listed in Jesus' genealogy. Learning about these women in the Bible helps them understand what Jesus thinks of them; that He loves them and offers hope and healing.
Music Ministry
Ron plays the guitar or cajon and leads a worship team on designated Sundays at Gabriola Fellowship Church. He is helping to train worship teams and he also is the sound engineer specialist, assisting the church to update their sound system.
Outreach & Growth
Ron is helping the local church, Gabriola Fellowship, reintroduce Alpha to the community. Alpha creates space for encounter, culture, and discipleship. It's all about creating connections and providing opportunities for everyone to explore their faith in a supportive setting. Ron and Gloria host Alpha in their home each week by providing a meal and having discussion.
Complex Trauma
As a Chaplain, Gloria is preparing to become a certified COMPASS Complex Trauma coach with Tim Fletcher Ministries. Her mission is to provide tailored support for those affected by trauma within Gabriola's community. Healing is a journey, and Gloria is dedicated to meeting the unique needs of local residents.
Youth Ministry
A Christian Youth Ministry is vital to the Spiritual growth of the 700+ youth on Gabriola Island. Ron and Gloria are dedicated to nurturing the faith of young individuals in the community God has brought them to. Collaborating with Pastor Paul from Youth for Christ, they aim to establish a vibrant Christian youth group that fosters friendships and spiritual growth.

A New Venture on Gabriola Island, BC
Partnered with Nanaimo Alliance Church and the Christian and Missionary Alliance Pacific District, Gabriola Community Ventures has launched on Gabriola Island, BC, a picturesque community of approximately 4,500 residents. The island is accessed via a 20-minute ferry ride from the coast of Nanaimo, making this a unique location for developing a faith community. Under the co-leadership of Chaplain Gloria Graf Davidson, and Ron Davidson, Gabriola Community Ventures has emerged from a deep sense of calling to serve in this distinctive location. Working with the local community church and other Christian agencies, Ron and Gloria approach this opportunity with a spirit of discernment, discovery and service, as they work to minister to the Spiritual needs of this artistic, new-age based community. Already, they have sensed God’s leading as they see the practical aspects of this New Venture falling into place.
